FURNITURE CASE STUDY
Project Description
After a quick trip to New York City to visit SLCE Architects' offices in Broadway, Spin were appointed to supply furniture for the clients' new offices in Pall Mall.
The client was keen to keep the America feel alive in London and engaged Sarah and the team to work with them so they could understand both cultures' needs. Beautiful veneer tables and bespoke credenzas were made by W J White, and the Cappellini Lotus Chair added to that luxurious feel in the main boardroom. Walnut veneer was used in several areas and this was carefully considered when using several manufacturers. The partitioning was supplied by Planet, and the reception by Clarke Rendall. The desks were a bespoke version of the Haworth Epure system, scribed into position as the 1815 building didn't offer square walls!
Boss Design supplied the reception furniture seating alongside an iconic Eileen Gray table, and the task seating was supplied by Haworth from their system 59 range, which mirrored the furniture of the Broadway offices.
It was an absolute pleasure working alongside such an esteemed and well respected architectural practice as SLCE and their partner James Davidson.
